FAQ

Eligible borrowers include active duty service members and retired veterans from all military branches who have received an honorable discharge and have VA loan entitlement.

The Veterans Advantage Program is an exclusive benefit offered by Clover Capital Mortgage and Clover Capital Homes to enhance the standard VA loan.

  • Receive .5% toward closing costs and prepaids when financing through Clover Capital Mortgage
  • Get an additional .5% credit when you also purchase with a Clover Capital Homes agent
    This program helps maximize your savings and streamline the homebuying experience—all while honoring your service.

Veterans apply for a VA loan just like they normally would—no extra steps required. Once your loan application is completed and documents are uploaded, pre-approval is typically issued within 24 hours.

The .5% lender credit is automatically applied when using Clover Capital Mortgage. To access the additional .5%, simply sign a buyer’s agency agreement with Clover Capital Homes and purchase your home with one of our trusted agents.

This program is available for VA-eligible primary residences, including:

  • Single-family homes
  • Condos
  • Townhomes
  • Manufactured homes (must meet VA guidelines)
  • VA Jumbo loans are also eligible

❌ Not eligible: second homes, investment properties, or non-VA loan types.
